Peggie Ann Findlay invites a group of concerned citizens to plan a new independent school
1994
Official Founding of Bosque School
Dr. Gary Gruber becomes Bosque’s first Head of School
Colors were chosen: navy blue and tan
The “Bosque Bobcat” mascot was born
1995
Bosque School opens with twelve faculty/staff and 72 sixth and seventh graders in rented space in Albuquerque’s northeast heights
1996
Andrew Wooden joins Bosque School as the assistant head of school
The Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Program (BEMP) began
1997
BEMP completes 1stsuccessful year with 225 Albuquerque-area students participating
Andrew Wooden becomes the head of school.
1998
President Gerald R. Ford and his family help launch first capital campaign where nearly $1 million was raised to begin building a permanent campus
1999
Land is purchased near the bosque (23 acres) for a permanent campus
2000
Bosque School moves to new campus adjacent to the 100-acre wood at Coors and Montano NW
The campus began with three buildings and a bubble for a gymnasium

2001
The Peggie Ann Findlay Arts Center opens
The first senior class graduates with 10 students
2002
The gymnasium opens two years ahead of schedule
2003
Gerald and Betty Ford Library receives $1 million in support of library technology
from the Annenberg Foundation
2004
A 10,000 square foot science building is donated to the school
Students voted to change the school colors to blue and white and use royal blue for athletics
2005
Gift to create Budagher Hall is announced
2006
Bosque School receives ISAS 10-year accreditation

2007
Ancient pueblo uncovered on the Bosque School campus
Budagher Hall opens adding 15,000 square feet of additional art classroom and performance space
First Girls Tennis Team State Championship
Klaus Weber Championship Soccer Field is dedicated
Six-court tennis complex is dedicated
2008
Bosque School unveils new campus master plan concept
First Soccer State Championship Titles: Boys and Girls Soccer
2009
Opening of 15,500 square foot Upper Schoolhouse building
Patrick Dougherty Land Art project comes to Bosque
First Girls Cross Country State Championship

Bosque Celebrates the 15thAnniversary with 550 students, 360 alumni, 110 Bosque faculty/staff, and 5,000 students participating in
BEMP.Bosque School’s Founding Head of School, Dr. Gary Gruber returns as interim head of school
An 11 piece art collection is donated to the school
2011Billy Handmaker joins Bosque School as the third head of school
