The varsity girls golf team finished in 2nd place in the New Mexico State Championships this week at the UNM South course. The young team of Sarah ‘13, Nicole ‘16, Emily ‘15, Bella and JQ ‘16 put up an amazing performance in some very trying conditions - winds of around 39 mph gusting up to 52 mph on the first day. In the individual scoring Sarah took third place with scores of 81-83, Nicole took 9th place with scores of 93-87, Emily took 11th with scores of- 90-92.

The girls also won their district tournament on 4/30/12. Five Bobcat golfers were in the top 10! Sarah '14 was 1st with 82, Emily '15 was 4th with 86, Nicole '16 and JQ '16 were tied at 5th with 91 and Bella '13 was 9th with 98.
The boys team finished in fourth place at the District tournament. Miles '14 posted the team low score with an 88.

Varsity Girls Golf won the 2012 Albuquerque Metro Team Championship on 4/24/12. Four Bosque players placed in the top 10 across the metro area:
Nicole '16 came in 5th with 85, Emily '15 came in 8th with 87, Bella '13 came in 9th with 88 and Sarah '14 came in 10th with 89.
9/27/11:
The Varsity girls golf finished in first place during the Grants Invitational at the Coyote del Malpais course in Grants. The team edged out the defending state champs, Socorro to win the title. Congratulations to Sarah '14 (fourth with 81), Nicole '16 (8th with 85), Emily '15 (10th with 86) and JQ '16 (12th with 88). Sarah, Nicole and Emily each had their fourth State qualifying score , JQ had her second and the girls earned a second team qualifying score!
In Boys golf, Adam Amestoy had an impressive score of 79 to garner his second State qualifying roundat the Grants Invitational.
The Varsity girls golf played in the tournament at Ladera on September 27, 2011. Sarah ‘14 placed 3rd with 86, Nicole ‘16 placed 4th with a score of 91 and Emily ‘15 placed 6th with a score of 92.
9/22/11:
The Girls Varsity golf played in the Cochiti Tournament on 9/22/11. Sarah '14 placed 2nd with a score of 79 (missing first place by one shot!), Emily '15 placed 4th with a score of 88 and Nicole '16 placed 5th with a score of 91.
9/19/11:
The Girls Varsity golf team placed first in the Hope Christian Invitational, beating La Cueva (who won 5A state in May) and moving them into second place by 6 shots!
Sarah '14 placed third with 84, Emily '15 placed 6th with 88, Bella '13 placed 7th with 89, Nicole '16 placed 8th with 91 and JQ '16 placed 10th with 95. All 5 girls had individual qualifying rounds for State and the team has their first team qualifying round as well.
On the Boys Varsity golf side, Adam '12 shot a 75 and earned an individual qualifying leg for State.
