The Bosque School Board of Trustees realizes the need for continued commitment within our school community towards excellence in teaching, learning, and character-building. With this in mind, the board has established a campus master plan that reflects the goals of the strategic plan.
The entire community is invited to share in our vision of continuing to make Bosque School a place where students have every opportunity to learn, grow and succeed. These successes, along with the new campus master plan, have prepared our community to move forward into a new era of excellence!
The Endowment addresses the need to secure our financial stability, compete for today’s top students, and ensure excellence in our student body. Bosque School is dedicated to enrolling qualified students with strong academic promise, talent and good moral character, and must be able to offer competitive financial aid packages to prospective and current students. A Signature Science Center – The existing science space, while temporary, has allowed Bosque to build a comprehensive science program exceeding national science education standards, but the current facility is limited. A permanent center is envisioned that will provide university-level laboratories and a 150-seat multi-purpose lecture hall. The science center will house the Albert J. and Mary Jane Black Institute for Environmental Studies. The Black Institute is a center for riparian and watershed research, as well as environmental and sustainability education. The Institute's primary focus is on the Rio Grande watershed of New Mexico.
A Field House and Track Expansion addresses the explosive growth of athletics at both the middle and upper school levels. The redesign, incorporating the current gymnasium, will provide an additional full-size gym, full-sized locker rooms, coaching spaces, classrooms, and a multi-purpose dance studio; this expansion will double the existing gymnasium space. Track & Field upgrades include an NMAA approved synthetic track surface and accompanying field venues, such as high jump and long jump. These enhancements will better support our athletic programs and allow Bosque to meet NMAA regulations for hosting meets.

Future Projects:
Middle School enhancements include a new building adjacent to Sanchez Park to replace temporary classrooms and add faculty work spaces. Visionary concepts include a cascading stair-step entry design allowing for an outdoor performance space.
Performing Arts Theater – The new master plan captures the need for a larger, more formal theater for our award-winning performing arts programs, which would allow for simultaneous performances. We invite you to share in our vision of continuing to make Bosque School a place where students have every opportunity to learn, grow and succeed. We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish to this point, but we are far from the finish line. Please join us as we move into the next phase of Bosque School aspirations.
