Library Instruction Class

Now is a great time to schedule library instruction for your sections.  Please email or stop by the library to set up a schedule for your students. Library instruction will include the following:
 
*Tour of the library facilities including collections, computer and technology labs, and student printer/copier
*Introductions to library/technology staff
*Library usage and guidelines
*How to use the online catalog
*Database instruction
*Internet search strategies
 
We will tailor the instruction to suit your needs and grade level.  Instruction is approximately a full block in length.
 

Test Proctoring

The library staff offers make-up test proctoring service to assist teachers.  Who to send to the library:

• Students with accommodation plans or educational support plans that allow for extra time or for testing in a separate location and you are unable to provide that accommodation.
• Students who have missed excessive class time due to illness or a planned absence and are having difficulty managing make-up work.
